Summer Events at the Case Memorial Library in Orange, CT

The library in Orange is not just for studying. It's also a place where you can find fun summer events for the family.

I am sure you are searching for things to do in/near Orange this summer. Well, don’t assume that you can’t head to the library for summer fun because you can at the Case Memorial Library in Orange. Your local library in Orange has some fun events going on this summer that you should definitely check out.

  • Oscar Films is a film series that the library is hosting where you can come and watch movies that have won an Oscar. The Oscar Films they plan to show are A Better Life (June 25 at 7pm), The Arists (June 28 at 7pm, July 23 at 7pm) and Bridesmaids (July 2 at 7pm).
  • Kick off Summer Reading with Al DeCant “Half Moon Music” on July 23 at 11am will kick off the summer reading program the library is hosting. You can sign your kids up for the program at your local library today.
  • 4th of July Craft, for kids 4-8 year of age, is a great way to get kids in the patriotic spirit just in time for Independence Day. They can do their crafts at the library on July 3 at 2pm…register your kids ASAP because it is limited to 20 kids.
  • Beardsley Zoomobile “Creatures of the Night” will teach kids about the interesting—you guessed it—nocturnal animals.
